What I learned in NYC today...

Hay Da Bakery + 3 dollars = a majestic dessert experience

Vegetable Masala Burgers at Trader Joe’s are magically delicious. And its important to stay competitive.

You eventually get to the point where achy feet, tender hamstrings and a sore gluteus maximus will not prevent you from walking twenty blocks and several flights of stairs.

Yaffa Cafe is way better than Odessa when you need a 24 hour breakfast fix in the L.E.S.

Googling the best doughnuts in NYC while working on a 15 page paper is not suggested. Especially if your walking commute happens to be near two of said establishments.

Avoid running up six flights of stairs and over twenty blocks in black skinny jeans, hoodie and leather jacket at all costs.

cockroaches like packaging. and they can fly. and their big. and gross. ugh.

Don’t forget to look up.

microwaves are very useful. especially for the chicken you so ingeniously purchased after 7:30 the night before, only to realize your pans need cooking oil to function efficiently.
